  • Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it. We may receive it gladly, with thankful hearts. - 1 Timothy 4:4


  • Run from anything that stimulates youthful lust. Follow anything that makes you want to do right. Pursue faith and love and peace, and enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts. - 2 Timothy 2:22


  • They should gently teach those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people's hearts, and they will believe the truth. - 2 Timothy 2:25


  • Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are defiled. - Titus 1:15


  • I myself have gained much joy and comfort from your love, my brother, because your kindness has so often refreshed the hearts of God's people. - Philemon 1:7


  • I am sending him back to you, and with him comes my own heart. - Philemon 1:12


  • Don't harden your hearts against him as Israel did when they rebelled, when they tested God's patience in the wilderness.3 - Hebrews 3:8

  • let us go right into the presence of God, with true hearts fully trusting him. For our evil consciences have been sprinkled with Christ's blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water. - Hebrews 10:22


  • So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the message God has planted in your hearts, for it is strong enough to save your souls. - James 1:21


  • But if you are bitterly jealous and there is selfish ambition in your hearts, don't brag about being wise. That is the worst kind of lie. - James 3:14
