  • Now this is what the LORD says concerning the royal palace: "You are as beloved to me as fruitful Gilead and the green forests of Lebanon. But I will destroy you and leave you deserted, with no one living within your walls. - Jeremiah 22:6


  • Go up to Gilead to get ointment, O virgin daughter of Egypt! But your many medicines will bring you no healing. - Jeremiah 46:11


  • And I will bring Israel home again to her own land, to feed in the fields of Carmel and Bashan, and to be satisfied once more on the hill country of Ephraim and Gilead. - Jeremiah 50:19

  • This is what the LORD says: "The people of Ammon have sinned again and again, and I will not forget it. I will not let them go unpunished any longer! When they attacked Gilead to extend their borders, they committed cruel crimes, ripping open pregnant women with their swords. - Amos 1:13


  • "Then my people living in the Negev will occupy the mountains of Edom. Those living in the foothills of Judah* will possess the Philistine plains and take over the fields of Ephraim and Samaria. And the people of Benjamin will occupy the land of Gilead.4 - Obadiah 1:19


  • O LORD, come and rule your people; lead your flock in green pastures. Help them to live in peace and prosperity. Let them enjoy the fertile pastures of Bashan and Gilead as they did long ago. - Micah 7:14


  • I will bring them back from Egypt and Assyria and resettle them in Gilead and Lebanon. There won't be enough room for them all! - Zechariah 10:10
