  • Open the gates to all who are righteous; allow the faithful to enter. - Isaiah 26:2


  • He will give a longing for justice to their judges. He will give great courage to their warriors who stand at the gates. - Isaiah 28:6


  • "Don't listen to Hezekiah! These are the terms the king of Assyria is offering: Make peace with me--open the gates and come out. Then I will allow each of you to continue eating from your own garden and drinking from your own well. - Isaiah 36:16

The fire will spread to the palaces, and no one will be able to put out the roaring flames.' " - Jeremiah 17:27


  • If you obey me, there will always be a descendant of David sitting on the throne here in Jerusalem. The king will ride through the palace gates in chariots and on horses, with his parade of officials and subjects. - Jeremiah 22:4
