  • Then his father, Zechariah, was filled with the Holy Spirit and gave this prophecy: - Luke 1:67


  • His parents didn't know what to think. "Son!" his mother said to him. "Why have you done this to us? Your father and I have been frantic, searching for you everywhere." - Luke 2:48


  • "But why did you need to search?" he asked. "You should have known that I would be in my Father's house."*1 - Luke 2:49


  • You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate. - Luke 6:36


  • When they arrived at the house, Jesus wouldn't let anyone go in with him except Peter, James, John, and the little girl's father and mother. - Luke 8:51


  • If a person is ashamed of me and my message, I, the Son of Man, will be ashamed of that person when I return in my glory and in the glory of the Father and the holy angels. - Luke 9:26


  • As the boy came forward, the demon knocked him to the ground and threw him into a violent convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the evil spirit and healed the boy. Then he gave him back to his father. - Luke 9:42


  • Then he said to them, "Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes my Father who sent me. Whoever is the least among you is the greatest." - Luke 9:48


  • He said to another person, "Come, be my disciple." The man agreed, but he said, "Lord, first let me return home and bury my father." - Luke 9:59


  • Then Jesus was filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit and said, "O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, thank you for hiding the truth from those who think themselves so wise and clever, and for revealing it to the childlike. Yes, Father, it pleased you to do it this way. - Luke 10:21


  • "My Father has given me authority over everything. No one really knows the Son except the Father, and no one really knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him." - Luke 10:22


  • "You fathers--if your children ask* for a fish, do you give them a snake instead?5 - Luke 11:11


  • If you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him." - Luke 11:13


  • Then someone called from the crowd, "Teacher, please tell my brother to divide our father's estate with me." - Luke 12:13


  • These things dominate the thoughts of most people, but your Father already knows your needs. - Luke 12:30


  • "So don't be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom. - Luke 12:32


  • There will be a division between father and son, mother and daughter, mother-in-law and daughter-in-law." - Luke 12:53
