(Read Father Part 1 First)

  • "I also tell you this: If two of you agree down here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. - Matthew 18:19

  • "That's what my heavenly Father will do to you if you refuse to forgive your brothers and sisters* in your heart."1 - Matthew 18:35

  • And he said, `This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.'*2 - Matthew 19:5

  • Honor your father and mother. Love your neighbor as yourself.'* "7 - Matthew 19:19

  • And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or property, for my sake, will receive a hundred times as much in return and will have eternal life. - Matthew 19:29

  • "You will indeed drink from it," he told them. "But I have no right to say who will sit on the thrones next to mine. My Father has prepared those places for the ones he has chosen." - Matthew 20:23

  • Then the father told the other son, `You go,' and he said, `Yes, sir, I will.' But he didn't go. - Matthew 21:30

  • Which of the two was obeying his father?" They replied, "The first, of course." Then Jesus explained his meaning: "I assure you, corrupt tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the Kingdom of God before you do. - Matthew 21:31

  • And don't address anyone here on earth as `Father,' for only God in heaven is your spiritual Father. - Matthew 23:9

  • "However, no one knows the day or the hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself.* Only the Father knows.1 - Matthew 24:36

  • Then the King will say to those on the right, `Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. - Matthew 25:34

  • Mark my words--I will not drink wine again until the day I drink it new with you in my Father's Kingdom." - Matthew 26:29

  • He went on a little farther and fell face down on the ground, praying, "My Father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will, not mine." - Matthew 26:39

  • Again he left them and prayed, "My Father! If this cup cannot be taken away until I drink it, your will be done." - Matthew 26:42

  • Don't you realize that I could ask my Father for thousands* of angels to protect us, and he would send them instantly?2 - Matthew 26:53

  • Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. - Matthew 28:19

  • He called them, too, and immediately they left their father, Zebedee, in the boat with the hired men and went with him. - Mark 1:20
