(Read Father Part 1 First)

  • Do not have intercourse with your aunt, your father's sister, because she is your father's close relative. - Leviticus 18:12

  • And do not violate your uncle, your father's brother, by having sexual intercourse with his wife; she also is your aunt. - Leviticus 18:14

  • Each of you must show respect for your mother and father, and you must always observe my Sabbath days of rest, for I, the LORD, am your God. - Leviticus 19:3

  • "All who curse their father or mother must be put to death. They are guilty of a capital offense. - Leviticus 20:9

  • If a man has intercourse with his father's wife, both the man and the woman must die, for they are guilty of a capital offense. - Leviticus 20:11

  • "If a man has sexual intercourse with his sister, the daughter of either his father or his mother, it is a terrible disgrace. Both of them must be publicly cut off from the community. Since the man has had intercourse with his sister, he will suffer the consequences of his guilt. - Leviticus 20:17

  • "If a man has sexual intercourse with his aunt, whether his mother's sister or his father's sister, he has violated a close relative. Both parties are guilty of a capital offense. - Leviticus 20:19

  • unless it is a close relative--mother or father, son or daughter, brother - Leviticus 21:2

  • If a priest's daughter becomes a prostitute, defiling her father's holiness as well as herself, she must be burned to death. - Leviticus 21:9

  • He must never defile himself by going near a dead person, even if it is his father or mother. - Leviticus 21:11

  • But if she becomes a widow or is divorced and has no children to support her, and she returns to live in her father's home, she may eat her father's food again. But other than these exceptions, only members of the priests' families are allowed to eat the sacred offerings. - Leviticus 22:13

  • One day a man who had an Israelite mother and an Egyptian father got into a fight with one of the Israelite men. - Leviticus 24:10

  • But Nadab and Abihu died in the LORD's presence in the wilderness of Sinai when they burned before the LORD a different kind of fire than he had commanded. Since they had no sons, this left only Eleazar and Ithamar to serve as priests with their father, Aaron. - Numbers 3:4

  • even if their own father, mother, brother, or sister has died. They must not defile the hair on their head, because it is the symbol of their separation to God. - Numbers 6:7

  • Are they my children? Am I their father? Is that why you have told me to carry them in my arms--like a nurse carries a baby--to the land you swore to give their ancestors? - Numbers 11:12

  • And the LORD said to Moses, "If her father had spit in her face, wouldn't she have been defiled for seven days? Banish her from the camp for seven days, and after that she may return." - Numbers 12:14

  • and Eliab was the father of Nemuel, Dathan, and Abiram. This Dathan and Abiram are the same community leaders who conspired with Korah against Moses and Aaron, defying the LORD. - Numbers 26:9
