  • On the journey, when Moses and his family had stopped for the night, the LORD confronted Moses* and was about to kill him.2 - Exodus 4:24


  • These are the descendants of Levi, listed according to their family groups. In the first generation were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. (Levi, their father, lived to be 137 years old.) - Exodus 6:16


  • Eleazar son of Aaron married one of the daughters of Putiel, and she bore him Phinehas. These are the ancestors of the Levite clans, listed according to their family groups. - Exodus 6:25


  • All the firstborn sons will die in every family in Egypt, from the oldest son of Pharaoh, who sits on the throne, to the oldest son of his lowliest slave. Even the firstborn of the animals will die. - Exodus 11:5


  • Announce to the whole community that on the tenth day of this month each family must choose a lamb or a young goat for a sacrifice. - Exodus 12:3


  • If a family is too small to eat an entire lamb, let them share the lamb with another family in the neighborhood. Whether or not they share in this way depends on the size of each family and how much they can eat. - Exodus 12:4
