  • It was by faith that the people of Israel went right through the Red Sea as though they were on dry ground. But when the Egyptians followed, they were all drowned. - Hebrews 11:29


  • It was by faith that the people of Israel marched around Jericho seven days, and the walls came crashing down. - Hebrews 11:30


  • It was by faith that Rahab the prostitute did not die with all the others in her city who refused to obey God. For she had given a friendly welcome to the spies. - Hebrews 11:31

  • Now someone may argue, "Some people have faith; others have good deeds." I say, "I can't see your faith if you don't have good deeds, but I will show you my faith through my good deeds." - James 2:18


  • Fool! When will you ever learn that faith that does not result in good deeds is useless? - James 2:20


  • You see, he was trusting God so much that he was willing to do whatever God told him to do. His faith was made complete by what he did--by his actions. - James 2:22
