(Read Faith Part 1 First)

  • He is the Rock; his work is perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he is! - Deuteronomy 32:4

  • For both of you broke faith with me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribah at Kadesh* in the wilderness of Zin. You failed to demonstrate my holiness to the people of Israel there.6 - Deuteronomy 32:51

  • Moses said this about the tribe of Levi: "O LORD, you have given the sacred lots* to your faithful servants the Levites. You put them to the test at Massah and contended with them at the waters of Meribah.5 - Deuteronomy 33:8

  • But be very careful to obey all the commands and the law that Moses gave to you. Love the LORD your God, walk in all his ways, obey his commands, be faithful to him, and serve him with all your heart and all your soul." - Joshua 22:5

  • But be faithful to the LORD your God as you have done until now. - Joshua 23:8

  • "Now make sure you have acted honorably and in good faith by making Abimelech your king, and that you have done right by Gideon* and all of his descendants. Have you treated my father with the honor he deserves?3 - Judges 9:16

  • If you have acted honorably and in good faith toward Gideon and his descendants, then may you find joy in Abimelech, and may he find joy in you. - Judges 9:19

  • But if you have not acted in good faith, then may fire come out from Abimelech and devour the people of Shechem and Beth-millo; and may fire come out from the people of Shechem and Beth-millo and devour Abimelech!" - Judges 9:20

  • Finally, Saul banned him from his presence and appointed him commander over only a thousand men, but David faithfully led his troops into battle. - 1 Samuel 18:13

  • And may you treat me with the faithful love of the LORD as long as I live. But if I die, - 1 Samuel 20:14

  • treat my family with this faithful love, even when the LORD destroys all your enemies." - 1 Samuel 20:15

  • "But sir," Ahimelech replied, "is there anyone among all your servants who is as faithful as David, your son-in-law? Why, he is the captain of your bodyguard and a highly honored member of your household! - 1 Samuel 22:14

  • Jonathan went to find David and encouraged him to stay strong in his faith in God. - 1 Samuel 23:16

  • I am one who is peace loving and faithful in Israel. But you are destroying a loyal city. Why do you want to destroy what belongs to the LORD?" - 2 Samuel 20:19

  • "To the faithful you show yourself faithful; to those with integrity you show integrity. - 2 Samuel 22:26

  • If you do this, then the LORD will keep the promise he made to me: `If your descendants live as they should and follow me faithfully with all their heart and soul, one of them will always sit on the throne of Israel.' - 1 Kings 2:4
