(Read Exile Part 1 First)

  • Yet there will be survivors, and they will come here to join you as exiles in Babylon. You will see with your own eyes how wicked they are, and then you will feel better about what I have done to Jerusalem. - Ezekiel 14:22

  • He made a treaty with a member of the royal family and made him take an oath of loyalty. He also exiled Israel's most influential leaders, - Ezekiel 17:13

  • I will purge you of all those who rebel and sin against me. I will bring them out of the countries where they are in exile, but they will never enter the land of Israel. And when that happens, you will know that I am the LORD. - Ezekiel 20:38

  • When I bring you home from exile, you will be as pleasing to me as an offering of perfumed incense. And I will display my holiness in you as all the nations watch. - Ezekiel 20:41

  • Give the Ammonites this message from the Sovereign LORD: Hear the word of the Sovereign LORD! Because you scoffed when my Temple was desecrated, mocked Israel in her desolation, and laughed at Judah as she went away into exile, - Ezekiel 25:3

  • Now give them this message from the Sovereign LORD: O my people, I will open your graves of exile and cause you to rise again. Then I will bring you back to the land of Israel. - Ezekiel 37:12

  • I will go to those once-desolate cities that are again filled with people who have returned from exile in many nations. I will capture vast amounts of plunder and take many slaves, for the people are rich with cattle now, and they think the whole world revolves around them!' - Ezekiel 38:12

  • The nations will then know why Israel was sent away to exile--it was punishment for sin, for they acted in treachery against their God. Therefore, I turned my back on them and let their enemies destroy them. - Ezekiel 39:23

  • Then my people will know that I am the LORD their God--responsible for sending them away to exile and responsible for bringing them home. I will leave none of my people behind. - Ezekiel 39:28

  • So Daniel was brought in before the king. The king asked him, "Are you Daniel, who was exiled from Judah by my predecessor, King Nebuchadnezzar? - Daniel 5:13

  • Then the people of Judah and Israel will unite under one leader, and they will return from exile together. What a day that will be--the day of Jezreel*--when God will again plant his people in his land.3 - Hosea 1:11

  • This is what the LORD says: "The people of Gaza have sinned again and again, and I will not forget it. I will not let them go unpunished any longer! They sent my people into exile, selling them as slaves in Edom. - Amos 1:6

  • He is saying, `Jeroboam will soon be killed and the people of Israel will be sent away into exile.' " - Amos 7:11

  • But this is what the LORD says: Because you have refused to listen, your wife will become a prostitute in this city, and your sons and daughters will be killed. Your land will be divided up, and you yourself will die in a foreign land. And the people of Israel will certainly become captives in exile, far from their homeland." - Amos 7:17
