(Read Egyptians Part 1 First)

  • You displayed miraculous signs and wonders against Pharaoh, his servants, and all his people, for you knew how arrogantly the Egyptians were treating them. You have a glorious reputation that has never been forgotten. - Nehemiah 9:10

  • He turned his anger against them; he did not spare the Egyptians' lives but handed them over to the plague. - Psalms 78:50

  • Then he turned the Egyptians against the Israelites, and they plotted against the LORD's servants. - Psalms 105:25

  • They performed miraculous signs among the Egyptians, and miracles in the land of Ham. - Psalms 105:27

  • When he spoke, flies descended on the Egyptians, and gnats swarmed across Egypt. - Psalms 105:31

  • So this is what the Lord, the LORD Almighty, says: "My people in Jerusalem,* do not be afraid of the Assyrians when they oppress you just as the Egyptians did long ago.3 - Isaiah 10:24

  • This message came to me concerning Egypt: Look! The LORD is advancing against Egypt, riding on a swift cloud. The idols of Egypt tremble. The hearts of the Egyptians melt with fear. - Isaiah 19:1

  • "I will make the Egyptians fight against each other--brother against brother, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, province against province. - Isaiah 19:2

  • The Egyptians will lose heart, and I will confuse their plans. They will plead with their idols for wisdom. They will call on spirits, mediums, and psychics to show them which way to turn. - Isaiah 19:3

  • In that day the Egyptians will be as weak as women. They will cower in fear beneath the upraised fist of the LORD Almighty. - Isaiah 19:16

  • In that day the LORD will make himself known to the Egyptians. Yes, they will know the LORD and will give their sacrifices and offerings to him. They will make promises to the LORD and keep them. - Isaiah 19:21

  • The LORD will strike Egypt in a way that will bring healing. For the Egyptians will turn to the LORD, and he will listen to their pleas and heal them. - Isaiah 19:22

  • In that day Egypt and Assyria will be connected by a highway. The Egyptians and Assyrians will move freely between their lands, and they will worship the same God. - Isaiah 19:23

  • For the king of Assyria will take away the Egyptians and Ethiopians* as prisoners. He will make them walk naked and barefoot, both young and old, their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.2 - Isaiah 20:4

  • For these Egyptians are mere humans, not God! Their horses are puny flesh, not mighty spirits! When the LORD clenches his fist against them, they will stumble and fall among those they are trying to help. They will all fall down and die together. - Isaiah 31:3

  • This is what the LORD says: "The Egyptians, Ethiopians,* and Sabeans will be subject to you. They will come to you with all their merchandise, and it will all be yours. They will follow you as prisoners in chains. They will fall to their knees in front of you and say, `God is with you, and he is the only God.' "2 - Isaiah 45:14

  • Egyptians, marching from their cities of Memphis* and Tahpanhes, have utterly destroyed Israel's glory and power.4 - Jeremiah 2:16
