It is the Egyptian army, boasting that it will cover the earth like a flood, destroying every foe. - Jeremiah 46:8
Then come, you horses and chariots and mighty warriors of Egypt! Come, all you allies from Ethiopia, Libya, and Lydia* who are skilled with the shield and bow!2 - Jeremiah 46:9

Pack up! Get ready to leave for exile, you citizens of Egypt! The city of Memphis will be destroyed, without a single person living there. - Jeremiah 46:19
