  • The angel of the LORD went up from Gilgal to Bokim with a message for the Israelites. He told them, "I brought you out of Egypt into this land that I swore to give your ancestors, and I said I would never break my covenant with you. - Judges 2:1


  • They abandoned the LORD, the God of their ancestors, who had brought them out of Egypt. They chased after other gods, worshiping the gods of the people around them. And they angered the LORD. - Judges 2:12


  • The king of Ammon answered Jephthah's messengers, "When the Israelites came out of Egypt, they stole my land from the Arnon River to the Jabbok River and all the way to the Jordan. Now then, give back the land peaceably." - Judges 11:13


  • When the people of Israel arrived at Kadesh on their journey from Egypt after crossing the Red Sea,*1 - Judges 11:16


  • One day a prophet came to Eli and gave him this message from the LORD: "Didn't I reveal myself to your ancestors when the people of Israel were slaves in Egypt? - 1 Samuel 2:27


  • Ever since I brought them from Egypt they have continually forsaken me and followed other gods. And now they are giving you the same treatment. - 1 Samuel 8:8


  • And he gave them this message from the LORD, the God of Israel: "I brought you from Egypt and rescued you from the Egyptians and from all of the nations that were oppressing you. - 1 Samuel 10:18


  • "It was the LORD who appointed Moses and Aaron," Samuel continued. "He brought your ancestors out of the land of Egypt. - 1 Samuel 12:6


  • "When the Israelites were* in Egypt and cried out to the LORD, he sent Moses and Aaron to rescue them from Egypt and to bring them into this land.1 - 1 Samuel 12:8


  • This is what the LORD Almighty says: `I have decided to settle accounts with the nation of Amalek for opposing Israel when they came from Egypt. - 1 Samuel 15:2


  • Saul sent this message to the Kenites: "Move away from where the Amalekites live or else you will die with them. For you were kind to the people of Israel when they came up from Egypt." So the Kenites packed up and left. - 1 Samuel 15:6


  • Then Saul slaughtered the Amalekites from Havilah all the way to Shur, east of Egypt. - 1 Samuel 15:7


  • David and his men spent their time raiding the Geshurites, the Girzites, and the Amalekites--people who had lived near Shur, along the road to Egypt, since ancient times. - 1 Samuel 27:8


  • Some of David's troops found an Egyptian man in a field and brought him to David. They gave him some bread to eat and some water to drink. - 1 Samuel 30:11


  • "To whom do you belong, and where do you come from?" David asked him. "I am an Egyptian--the slave of an Amalekite," he replied. "My master left me behind three days ago because I was sick. - 1 Samuel 30:13


  • So the Egyptian led them to the Amalekite encampment. When David and his men arrived, the Amalekites were spread out across the fields, eating and drinking and dancing with joy because of the vast amount of plunder they had taken from the Philistines and the land of Judah. - 1 Samuel 30:16


  • I have never lived in a temple, from the day I brought the Israelites out of Egypt until now. My home has always been a tent, moving from one place to another. - 2 Samuel 7:6
