  • This is a list of Esau's descendants, the Edomites, who lived in the hill country of Seir. - Genesis 36:9


  • Magdiel, and Iram. These are the names of the clans of Esau, the ancestor of the Edomites, each clan giving its name to the area it occupied. - Genesis 36:43


  • Give these orders to the people: "You will be passing through the country belonging to your relatives the Edomites, the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. The Edomites will feel threatened, so be careful. - Deuteronomy 2:4
