  • This is what the LORD says: "Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Could you ever build me a temple as good as that? Could you build a dwelling place for me? - Isaiah 66:1


  • My hands have made both heaven and earth, and they are mine. I, the LORD, have spoken! "I will bless those who have humble and contrite hearts, who tremble at my word. - Isaiah 66:2


  • "As surely as my new heavens and earth will remain, so will you always be my people, with a name that will never disappear," says the LORD. - Isaiah 66:22


  • I looked at the earth, and it was empty and formless. I looked at the heavens, and there was no light. - Jeremiah 4:23


  • The earth will mourn, the heavens will be draped in black, because of my decree against my people. I have made up my mind and will not change it." - Jeremiah 4:28


  • Listen, all the earth! I will bring disaster upon my people. It is the fruit of their own sin because they refuse to listen to me. They have rejected all my instructions. - Jeremiah 6:19


  • Who would not fear you, O King of nations? That title belongs to you alone! Among all the wise people of the earth and in all the kingdoms of the world, there is no one like you. - Jeremiah 10:7


  • But the LORD is the only true God, the living God. He is the everlasting King! The whole earth trembles at his anger. The nations hide before his wrath. - Jeremiah 10:10


  • Say this to those who worship other gods: "Your so-called gods, who did not make the heavens and earth, will vanish from the earth."*1 - Jeremiah 10:11


  • But God made the earth by his power, and he preserves it by his wisdom. He has stretched out the heavens by his understanding. - Jeremiah 10:12


  • When he speaks, there is thunder in the heavens. He causes the clouds to rise over the earth. He sends the lightning with the rain and releases the wind from his storehouses. - Jeremiah 10:13


  • Because of the wicked things Manasseh son of Hezekiah, king of Judah, did in Jerusalem, I will make my people an object of horror to all the kingdoms of the earth. - Jeremiah 15:4


  • I will wipe Jerusalem from the face of the earth, making it a monument to their stupidity. All who pass by will be appalled and will gasp at the destruction they see there. - Jeremiah 19:8


  • O earth, earth, earth! Listen to this message from the LORD! - Jeremiah 22:29


  • Can anyone hide from me? Am I not everywhere in all the heavens and earth?" asks the LORD. - Jeremiah 23:24


  • I will make them an object of horror and evil to every nation on earth. They will be disgraced and mocked, taunted and cursed, wherever I send them. - Jeremiah 24:9


  • I have begun to punish Jerusalem, the city where my own name is honored. Now should I let you go unpunished? No, you will not escape disaster. I will call for war against all the nations of the earth. I, the LORD Almighty, have spoken!' - Jeremiah 25:29
