(Read Earth Part 1 First)

  • For the LORD Most High is awesome. He is the great King of all the earth. - Psalms 47:2

  • For God is the King over all the earth. Praise him with a psalm! - Psalms 47:7

  • The rulers of the world have gathered together. They join us in praising the God of Abraham. For all the kings of the earth belong to God. He is highly honored everywhere. - Psalms 47:9

  • It is magnificent in elevation-- the whole earth rejoices to see it! Mount Zion, the holy mountain,* is the city of the great King!1 - Psalms 48:2

  • The kings of the earth joined forces and advanced against the city. - Psalms 48:4

  • As your name deserves, O God, you will be praised to the ends of the earth. Your strong right hand is filled with victory. - Psalms 48:10

  • Heaven and earth will be his witnesses as he judges his people: - Psalms 50:4

  • Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens! May your glory shine over all the earth. - Psalms 57:5

  • Then at last everyone will say, "There truly is a reward for those who live for God; surely there is a God who judges justly here on earth." - Psalms 58:11

  • From the ends of the earth, I will cry to you for help, for my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety, - Psalms 61:2

  • But those plotting to destroy me will come to ruin. They will go down into the depths of the earth. - Psalms 63:9

  • You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our savior. You are the hope of everyone on earth, even those who sail on distant seas. - Psalms 65:5

  • Those who live at the ends of the earth stand in awe of your wonders. From where the sun rises to where it sets, you inspire shouts of joy. - Psalms 65:8

  • You take care of the earth and water it, making it rich and fertile. The rivers of God will not run dry; they provide a bountiful harvest of grain, for you have ordered it so. - Psalms 65:9

  • You drench the plowed ground with rain, melting the clods and leveling the ridges. You soften the earth with showers and bless its abundant crops. - Psalms 65:10

  • For the choir director: A psalm. A song. Shout joyful praises to God, all the earth! - Psalms 66:1
