(Read Dream Part 1 First)

  • And he remembered the dreams he had had many years before. He said to them, "You are spies! You have come to see how vulnerable our land has become." - Genesis 42:9

  • Gideon crept up just as a man was telling his friend about a dream. The man said, "I had this dream, and in my dream a loaf of barley bread came tumbling down into the Midianite camp. It hit a tent, turned it over, and knocked it flat!" - Judges 7:13

  • His friend said, "Your dream can mean only one thing--God has given Gideon son of Joash, the Israelite, victory over all the armies united with Midian!" - Judges 7:14

  • When Gideon heard the dream and its interpretation, he thanked God. Then he returned to the Israelite camp and shouted, "Get up! For the LORD has given you victory over the Midianites!" - Judges 7:15

  • And the LORD said to them, "Now listen to me! Even with prophets, I the LORD communicate by visions and dreams. - Numbers 12:6

  • "Suppose there are prophets among you, or those who have dreams about the future, and they promise you signs or miracles, - Deuteronomy 13:1

  • The false prophets or dreamers who try to lead you astray must be put to death, for they encourage rebellion against the LORD your God, who brought you out of slavery in the land of Egypt. Since they try to keep you from following the LORD your God, you must execute them to remove the evil from among you. - Deuteronomy 13:5

  • He asked the LORD what he should do, but the LORD refused to answer him, either by dreams or by sacred lots* or by the prophets.1 - 1 Samuel 28:6

  • "Why have you disturbed me by calling me back?" Samuel asked. "Because I am in deep trouble," Saul replied. "The Philistines are at war with us, and God has left me and won't reply by prophets or dreams. So I have called for you to tell me what to do." - 1 Samuel 28:15

  • That night the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream, and God said, "What do you want? Ask, and I will give it to you!" - 1 Kings 3:5

  • Then Solomon woke up and realized it had been a dream. He returned to Jerusalem and stood before the Ark of the Lord's covenant, where he sacrificed burnt offerings and peace offerings. Then he invited all his officials to a great banquet. - 1 Kings 3:15

  • That night God appeared to Solomon in a dream and said, "What do you want? Ask, and I will give it to you!" - 2 Chronicles 1:7

  • you shatter me with dreams. You terrify me with visions. - Job 7:14

  • He will fade like a dream and not be found. He will vanish like a vision in the night. - Job 20:8

  • He was always greedy but never satisfied. Of all the things he dreamed about, nothing remains. - Job 20:20

  • He speaks in dreams, in visions of the night when deep sleep falls on people as they lie in bed. - Job 33:15

  • Their present life is only a dream that is gone when they awake. When you arise, O Lord, you will make them vanish from this life. - Psalms 73:20
