  • One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so he could touch them and bless them, but the disciples told them not to bother him. - Mark 10:13


  • But when Jesus saw what was happening, he was very displeased with his disciples. He said to them, "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. - Mark 10:14


  • Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, "How hard it is for rich people to get into the Kingdom of God!" - Mark 10:23


  • The disciples were astounded. "Then who in the world can be saved?" they asked. - Mark 10:26


  • Then Peter began to mention all that he and the other disciples had left behind. "We've given up everything to follow you," he said. - Mark 10:28


  • They were now on the way to Jerusalem, and Jesus was walking ahead of them. The disciples were filled with dread and the people following behind were overwhelmed with fear. Taking the twelve disciples aside, Jesus once more began to describe everything that was about to happen to him in Jerusalem. - Mark 10:32


  • When the ten other disciples discovered what James and John had asked, they were indignant. - Mark 10:41


  • And so they reached Jericho. Later, as Jesus and his disciples left town, a great crowd was following. A blind beggar named Bartimaeus (son of Timaeus) was sitting beside the road as Jesus was going by. - Mark 10:46


  • As Jesus and his disciples approached Jerusalem, they came to the towns of Bethphage and Bethany, on the Mount of Olives. Jesus sent two of them on ahead. - Mark 11:1


  • The two disciples left and found the colt standing in the street, tied outside a house. - Mark 11:4


  • So Jesus came to Jerusalem and went into the Temple. He looked around carefully at everything, and then he left because it was late in the afternoon. Then he went out to Bethany with the twelve disciples. - Mark 11:11


  • Then Jesus said to the tree, "May no one ever eat your fruit again!" And the disciples heard him say it. - Mark 11:14


  • That evening Jesus and the disciples* left the city.4 - Mark 11:19


  • The next morning as they passed by the fig tree he had cursed, the disciples noticed it was withered from the roots. - Mark 11:20


  • Then Jesus said to the disciples, "Have faith in God. - Mark 11:22


  • He called his disciples to him and said, "I assure you, this poor widow has given more than all the others have given. - Mark 12:43


  • As Jesus was leaving the Temple that day, one of his disciples said, "Teacher, look at these tremendous buildings! Look at the massive stones in the walls!" - Mark 13:1
