  • All those who want to be my disciples must come and follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And if they follow me, the Father will honor them. - John 12:26

  • Before the Passover celebration, Jesus knew that his hour had come to leave this world and return to his Father. He now showed the disciples the full extent of his love.*1 - John 13:1

  • After saying these things, Jesus crossed the Kidron Valley with his disciples and entered a grove of olive trees. - John 18:1

  • Judas, the betrayer, knew this place, because Jesus had gone there many times with his disciples. - John 18:2

  • Simon Peter followed along behind, as did another of the disciples. That other disciple was acquainted with the high priest, so he was allowed to enter the courtyard with Jesus. - John 18:15

  • Peter stood outside the gate. Then the other disciple spoke to the woman watching at the gate, and she let Peter in. - John 18:16

  • The woman asked Peter, "Aren't you one of Jesus' disciples?" "No," he said, "I am not." - John 18:17
