  • Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve disciples, went to the leading priests to arrange to betray Jesus to them. - Mark 14:10


  • On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread (the day the Passover lambs were sacrificed), Jesus' disciples asked him, "Where do you want us to go to prepare the Passover supper?" - Mark 14:12


  • At the house he enters, say to the owner, `The Teacher asks, Where is the guest room where I can eat the Passover meal with my disciples?' - Mark 14:14


  • So the two disciples went on ahead into the city and found everything just as Jesus had said, and they prepared the Passover supper there. - Mark 14:16


  • In the evening Jesus arrived with the twelve disciples. - Mark 14:17


  • As they were eating, Jesus took a loaf of bread and asked God's blessing on it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, "Take it, for this is my body." - Mark 14:22


  • Then he returned and found the disciples asleep. "Simon!" he said to Peter. "Are you asleep? Couldn't you stay awake and watch with me even one hour? - Mark 14:37


  • And immediately, as he said this, Judas, one of the twelve disciples, arrived with a mob that was armed with swords and clubs. They had been sent out by the leading priests, the teachers of religious law, and the other leaders. - Mark 14:43


  • Meanwhile, all his disciples deserted him and ran away. - Mark 14:50


  • Now go and give this message to his disciples, including Peter: Jesus is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there, just as he told you before he died!" - Mark 16:7


  • She went and found the disciples, who were grieving and weeping. - Mark 16:10


  • Still later he appeared to the eleven disciples as they were eating together. He rebuked them for their unbelief--their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen. - Mark 16:14


  • And the disciples went everywhere and preached, and the Lord worked with them, confirming what they said by many miraculous signs. - Mark 16:20

  • Later, as Jesus left the town, he saw a tax collector named Levi sitting at his tax-collection booth. "Come, be my disciple!" Jesus said to him. - Luke 5:27


  • But the Pharisees and their teachers of religious law complained bitterly to Jesus' disciples, "Why do you eat and drink with such scum*?"1 - Luke 5:30


  • The religious leaders complained that Jesus' disciples were feasting instead of fasting. "John the Baptist's disciples always fast and pray," they declared, "and so do the disciples of the Pharisees. Why are yours always feasting?" - Luke 5:33
