(Read Demons Part 1 First)

  • The LORD will demonstrate his holy power before the eyes of all the nations. The ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God. - Isaiah 52:10

  • Then take an iron griddle and place it between you and the city. Turn toward it and demonstrate how the enemy will attack Jerusalem. This will be a warning to the people of Israel. - Ezekiel 4:3

  • "Meanwhile, continue your demonstration of the siege of Jerusalem. Lie there with your arm bared and prophesy her destruction. - Ezekiel 4:7

  • So now put on a demonstration to show them what it will be like to go off into exile. Pack whatever you can carry on your back and leave your home to go on a journey. Make your preparations in broad daylight so the people can see you, for perhaps they will even yet consider what this means, even though they are such rebels. - Ezekiel 12:3

  • Then explain that your actions are a demonstration of what will soon happen to them, for they will be driven from their homes and sent away into exile. - Ezekiel 12:11

  • News about him spread far beyond the borders of Galilee so that the sick were soon coming to be healed from as far away as Syria. And whatever their illness and pain, or if they were possessed by demons, or were epileptics, or were paralyzed--he healed them all. - Matthew 4:24

  • On judgment day many will tell me, `Lord, Lord, we prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.' - Matthew 7:22

  • When Jesus arrived on the other side of the lake in the land of the Gadarenes,* two men who were possessed by demons met him. They lived in a cemetery and were so dangerous that no one could go through that area.3 - Matthew 8:28

  • so the demons begged, "If you cast us out, send us into that herd of pigs." - Matthew 8:31

  • "All right, go!" Jesus commanded them. So the demons came out of the men and entered the pigs, and the whole herd plunged down the steep hillside into the lake and drowned in the water. - Matthew 8:32

  • But the Pharisees said, "He can cast out demons because he is empowered by the prince of demons." - Matthew 9:34

  • Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received! - Matthew 10:8

  • The student shares the teacher's fate. The servant shares the master's fate. And since I, the master of the household, have been called the prince of demons,* how much more will it happen to you, the members of the household!4 - Matthew 10:25

  • But when the Pharisees heard about the miracle, they said, "No wonder he can cast out demons. He gets his power from Satan,* the prince of demons."6 - Matthew 12:24

  • And if I am empowered by the prince of demons,* what about your own followers? They cast out demons, too, so they will judge you for what you have said.7 - Matthew 12:27
