  • Two blind men were sitting beside the road. When they heard that Jesus was coming that way, they began shouting, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!" - Matthew 20:30


  • The crowd told them to be quiet, but they only shouted louder, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!" - Matthew 20:31


  • He was in the center of the procession, and the crowds all around him were shouting, "Praise God* for the Son of David! Bless the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Praise God in highest heaven!"*3 - Matthew 21:9


  • The leading priests and the teachers of religious law saw these wonderful miracles and heard even the little children in the Temple shouting, "Praise God for the Son of David." But they were indignant - Matthew 21:15


  • "What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?" They replied, "He is the son of David." - Matthew 22:42


  • Jesus responded, "Then why does David, speaking under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, call him Lord? For David said, - Matthew 22:43


  • Since David called him Lord, how can he be his son at the same time?" - Matthew 22:45


  • But Jesus replied, "Haven't you ever read in the Scriptures what King David did when he and his companions were hungry? - Mark 2:25


  • When Bartimaeus heard that Jesus from Nazareth was nearby, he began to shout out, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" - Mark 10:47


  • "Be quiet!" some of the people yelled at him. But he only shouted louder, "Son of David, have mercy on me!" - Mark 10:48

  • to a virgin named Mary. She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David. - Luke 1:27
