(Read Curse Part 1 First)

  • You will be cursed wherever you go, both in coming and in going. - Deuteronomy 28:19

  • "The LORD himself will send against you curses, confusion, and disillusionment in everything you do, until at last you are completely destroyed for doing evil and forsaking me. - Deuteronomy 28:20

  • "If you refuse to listen to the LORD your God and to obey the commands and laws he has given you, all these curses will pursue and overtake you until you are destroyed. - Deuteronomy 28:45

  • Let none of those who hear the warnings of this curse consider themselves immune, thinking, `I am safe, even though I am walking in my own stubborn way.' This would lead to utter ruin! - Deuteronomy 29:19

  • The LORD will not pardon such people. His anger and jealousy will burn against them. All the curses written in this book will come down on them, and the LORD will erase their names from under heaven. - Deuteronomy 29:20

  • The LORD will separate them from all the tribes of Israel, to pour out on them all the covenant curses recorded in this Book of the Law. - Deuteronomy 29:21

  • That is why the LORD's anger burned against this land, bringing down on it all the curses recorded in this book. - Deuteronomy 29:27

  • "Suppose all these things happen to you--the blessings and the curses I have listed--and you meditate on them as you are living among the nations to which the LORD your God has exiled you. - Deuteronomy 30:1

  • The LORD your God will inflict all these curses on your enemies and persecutors. - Deuteronomy 30:7

  • "Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, that you and your descendants might live! - Deuteronomy 30:19

  • At that time Joshua invoked this curse: "May the curse of the LORD fall on anyone who tries to rebuild the city of Jericho. At the cost of his firstborn son, he will lay its foundation. At the cost of his youngest son, he will set up its gates." - Joshua 6:26

  • Joshua then read to them all the blessings and curses Moses had written in the Book of the Law. - Joshua 8:34

  • May you be cursed! From now on you will chop wood and carry water for the house of my God." - Joshua 9:23

  • Then Balak son of Zippor, king of Moab, started a war against Israel. He asked Balaam son of Beor to curse you, - Joshua 24:9

  • God also punished the men of Shechem for all their evil. So the curse of Jotham son of Gideon came true. - Judges 9:57

  • One day he said to his mother, "I heard you curse the thief who stole eleven hundred pieces* of silver from you. Well, here they are. I was the one who took them." "The LORD bless you for admitting it," his mother replied.1 - Judges 17:2

  • Now the men of Israel were worn out that day, because Saul had made them take an oath, saying, "Let a curse fall on anyone who eats before evening--before I have full revenge on my enemies." So no one ate a thing all day, - 1 Samuel 14:24
