  • He placed inside the Ark the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant,* and then he attached the Ark's carrying poles. He also set the Ark's cover--the place of atonement--on top of it.5 - Exodus 40:20


  • Then he brought the Ark of the Covenant into the Tabernacle and set up the inner curtain to shield it from view, just as the LORD had commanded. - Exodus 40:21


  • Season all your grain offerings with salt, to remind you of God's covenant. Never forget to add salt to your grain offerings. - Leviticus 2:13


  • There in the LORD's presence, he will put the incense on the burning coals so that a cloud of incense will rise over the Ark's cover--the place of atonement--that rests on the Ark of the Covenant.* If he follows these instructions, he will not die.4 - Leviticus 16:13

  • Then I will remember my covenant with Jacob, with Isaac, and with Abraham, and I will remember the land. - Leviticus 26:42


  • "But despite all this, I will not utterly reject or despise them while they are in exile in the land of their enemies. I will not cancel my covenant with them by wiping them out. I, the LORD, am their God. - Leviticus 26:44


  • I will remember my ancient covenant with their ancestors, whom I brought out of Egypt while all the nations watched. I, the LORD, am their God." - Leviticus 26:45


  • You must put the Levites in charge of the Tabernacle of the Covenant,* along with its furnishings and equipment. They must carry the Tabernacle and its equipment as you travel, and they must care for it and camp around it.5 - Numbers 1:50


  • But the Levites will camp around the Tabernacle of the Covenant to offer the people of Israel protection from the LORD's fierce anger. The Levites are responsible to stand guard around the Tabernacle." - Numbers 1:53


  • When the camp moves, Aaron and his sons must enter the Tabernacle first to take down the inner curtain and cover the Ark of the Covenant* with it.2 - Numbers 4:5


  • Whenever Moses went into the Tabernacle to speak with the LORD, he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the Ark's cover--the place of atonement--that rests on the Ark of the Covenant.* The LORD spoke to him from there.3 - Numbers 7:89


  • Blow the trumpets in times of gladness, too, sounding them at your annual festivals and at the beginning of each month to rejoice over your burnt offerings and peace offerings. The trumpets will remind the LORD your God of his covenant with you. I am the LORD your God." - Numbers 10:10


  • One day in midspring,* during the second year after Israel's departure from Egypt, the cloud lifted from the Tabernacle of the Covenant.*2 - Numbers 10:11
