  • So God has given us both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can take new courage, for we can hold on to his promise with confidence. - Hebrews 6:18


  • This confidence is like a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain of heaven into God's inner sanctuary. - Hebrews 6:19


  • It was by faith that Isaac blessed his two sons, Jacob and Esau. He had confidence in what God was going to do in the future. - Hebrews 11:20


  • That is why we can say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper, so I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?"*3 - Hebrews 13:6


  • Because of that, we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets. Pay close attention to what they wrote, for their words are like a light shining in a dark place--until the day Christ appears and his brilliant light shines in your hearts.*6 - 2 Peter 1:19


  • Dear friends, if our conscience is clear, we can come to God with bold confidence. - 1 John 3:21


  • And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we are like Christ here in this world. - 1 John 4:17
