  • For I know how eager you are to help, and I have been boasting to our friends in Macedonia that you Christians in Greece* were ready to send an offering a year ago. In fact, it was your enthusiasm that stirred up many of them to begin helping.2 - 2 Corinthians 9:2

  • I would be humiliated--and so would you--if some Macedonian Christians came with me, only to find that you still weren't ready after all I had told them! - 2 Corinthians 9:4

  • So two good things will happen--the needs of the Christians in Jerusalem will be met, and they will joyfully express their thanksgiving to God. - 2 Corinthians 9:12

  • And still the Christians in the churches in Judea didn't know me personally. - Galatians 1:22

  • Even that question wouldn't have come up except for some so-called Christians there--false ones, really*--who came to spy on us and see our freedom in Christ Jesus. They wanted to force us, like slaves, to follow their Jewish regulations.2 - Galatians 2:4

  • When he first arrived, he ate with the Gentile Christians, who don't bother with circumcision. But afterward, when some Jewish friends of James came, Peter wouldn't eat with the Gentiles anymore because he was afraid of what these legalists would say. - Galatians 2:12

  • Then the other Jewish Christians followed Peter's hypocrisy, and even Barnabas was influenced to join them in their hypocrisy. - Galatians 2:13

  • And yet we Jewish Christians know that we become right with God, not by doing what the law commands, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be accepted by God because of our faith in Christ--and not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be saved by obeying the law."*4 - Galatians 2:16

  • Have you lost your senses? After starting your Christian lives in the Spirit, why are you now trying to become perfect by your own human effort? - Galatians 3:3

  • Through the work of Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, and we Christians receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith. - Galatians 3:14

  • There is no longer Jew or Gentile,* slave or free, male or female. For you are all Christians--you are one in Christ Jesus.2 - Galatians 3:28

  • Dear brothers and sisters, if another Christian* is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself.1 - Galatians 6:1

  • Whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone, especially to our Christian brothers and sisters. - Galatians 6:10

  • Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for Christians everywhere, - Ephesians 1:15
