(Read Children Part 1 First)

  • But oh, my dear children! I feel as if I am going through labor pains for you again, and they will continue until Christ is fully developed in your lives. - Galatians 4:19

  • And now Jerusalem is just like Mount Sinai in Arabia, because she and her children live in slavery. - Galatians 4:25

  • That is what Isaiah meant when he prophesied, "Rejoice, O childless woman! Break forth into loud and joyful song, even though you never gave birth to a child. For the woman who could bear no children now has more than all the other women!"*6 - Galatians 4:27

  • And you, dear brothers and sisters, are children of the promise, just like Isaac. - Galatians 4:28

  • So, dear brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman, obligated to the law. We are children of the free woman, acceptable to God because of our faith. - Galatians 4:31

  • And this is the secret plan: The Gentiles have an equal share with the Jews in all the riches inherited by God's children. Both groups have believed the Good News, and both are part of the same body and enjoy together the promise of blessings through Christ Jesus. - Ephesians 3:6

  • Then we will no longer be like children, forever changing our minds about what we believe because someone has told us something different or because someone has cleverly lied to us and made the lie sound like the truth. - Ephesians 4:14

  • Follow God's example in everything you do, because you are his dear children. - Ephesians 5:1

  • Children, obey your parents because you belong to the Lord, for this is the right thing to do. - Ephesians 6:1

  • And now a word to you fathers. Don't make your children angry by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction approved by the Lord. - Ephesians 6:4

  • You children must always obey your parents, for this is what pleases the Lord. - Colossians 3:20

  • Fathers, don't aggravate your children. If you do, they will become discouraged and quit trying. - Colossians 3:21

  • As apostles of Christ we certainly had a right to make some demands of you, but we were as gentle among you as a mother* feeding and caring for her own children.2 - 1 Thessalonians 2:7

  • And you know that we treated each of you as a father treats his own children. - 1 Thessalonians 2:11

  • For you are all children of the light and of the day; we don't belong to darkness and night. - 1 Thessalonians 5:5

  • He must manage his own family well, with children who respect and obey him. - 1 Timothy 3:4

  • A deacon must be faithful to his wife, and he must manage his children and household well. - 1 Timothy 3:12
