  • The LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, sends this message to all the captives he has exiled to Babylon from Jerusalem: - Jeremiah 29:4


  • And work for the peace and prosperity of Babylon. Pray to the LORD for that city where you are held captive, for if Babylon has peace, so will you." - Jeremiah 29:7


  • Therefore, listen to this message from the LORD, all you captives there in Babylon. - Jeremiah 29:20


  • The LORD gave a message to Jeremiah after Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, had released him at Ramah. He had found Jeremiah bound in chains among the captives of Jerusalem and Judah who were being sent to exile in Babylon. - Jeremiah 40:1


  • Ishmael made captives of the king's daughters and the other people who had been left under Gedaliah's care in Mizpah by Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard. Taking them with him, he started back toward the land of Ammon. - Jeremiah 41:10


  • And all the captives from Mizpah escaped and began to help Johanan. - Jeremiah 41:14

  • Bring your baggage outside during the day so they can watch you. Then as they are watching, leave your house in the evening, just as captives do when they begin a long march to distant lands. - Ezekiel 12:4
