(Read Bread Part 1 First)

  • Eat it with bread made without yeast. For seven days eat only bread made without yeast, as you did when you escaped from Egypt in such a hurry. Eat this bread--the bread of suffering--so that you will remember the day you departed from Egypt as long as you live. - Deuteronomy 16:3

  • For the next six days you may not eat bread made with yeast. On the seventh day the people must assemble before the LORD your God, and no work may be done on that day. - Deuteronomy 16:8

  • "Each year every man in Israel must celebrate these three festivals: the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Harvest, and the Festival of Shelters. They must appear before the LORD your God at the place he chooses on each of these occasions, and they must bring a gift to the LORD. - Deuteronomy 16:16

  • You will be blessed with baskets overflowing with fruit, and with kneading bowls filled with bread. - Deuteronomy 28:5

  • You will be cursed with baskets empty of fruit, and with kneading bowls empty of bread. - Deuteronomy 28:17

  • You had no bread or wine or other strong drink, but he gave you food so you would know that he is the LORD your God. - Deuteronomy 29:6

  • The very next day they began to eat unleavened bread and roasted grain harvested from the land. - Joshua 5:11

  • Now, what is there to eat? Give me five loaves of bread or anything else you have." - 1 Samuel 21:3

  • "We don't have any regular bread," the priest replied. "But there is the holy bread, which I guess you can have if your young men have not slept with any women recently." - 1 Samuel 21:4

  • So, since there was no other food available, the priest gave him the holy bread--the Bread of the Presence that was placed before the LORD in the Tabernacle. It had just been replaced that day with fresh bread. - 1 Samuel 21:6

  • Should I take my bread and water and the meat I've slaughtered for my shearers and give it to a band of outlaws who come from who knows where?" - 1 Samuel 25:11
