(Read Bread Part 1 First)
For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are announcing the Lord's death until he comes again. - 1 Corinthians 11:26
So if anyone eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord unworthily, that person is guilty of sinning against the body and the blood of the Lord. - 1 Corinthians 11:27
That is why you should examine yourself before eating the bread and drinking from the cup. - 1 Corinthians 11:28
For if you eat the bread or drink the cup unworthily, not honoring the body of Christ,* you are eating and drinking God's judgment upon yourself.5 - 1 Corinthians 11:29
For God is the one who gives seed to the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will give you many opportunities to do good, and he will produce a great harvest of generosity* in you.4 - 2 Corinthians 9:10
There were two rooms in this tent. In the first room were a lampstand, a table, and loaves of holy bread on the table. This was called the Holy Place. - Hebrews 9:2
