  • Have you rejected us, O God? Will you no longer march with our armies? - Psalms 108:11

  • O LORD, remember what the Edomites did on the day the armies of Babylon captured Jerusalem. "Destroy it!" they yelled. "Level it to the ground!" - Psalms 137:7

  • Praise him, all his angels! Praise him, all the armies of heaven! - Psalms 148:2

  • "Have any of your idols ever told you this? Come, all of you, and listen: `The LORD has chosen Cyrus as his ally. He will use him to put an end to the empire of Babylon, destroying the Babylonian* armies.'1 - Isaiah 48:14

  • I have created the blacksmith who fans the coals beneath the forge and makes the weapons of destruction. And I have created the armies that destroy. - Isaiah 54:16

  • Listen! I am calling the armies of the kingdoms of the north to come to Jerusalem. They will set their thrones at the gates of the city. They will attack its walls and all the other towns of Judah. - Jeremiah 1:15

  • At the noise of marching armies, the people flee in terror from the cities. They hide in the bushes and run for the mountains. All the cities have been abandoned--not a person remains! - Jeremiah 4:29
