  • The angel of the LORD appeared to him and said, "Mighty hero, the LORD is with you!" - Judges 6:12


  • Gideon hurried home. He cooked a young goat, and with half a bushel* of flour he baked some bread without yeast. Then, carrying the meat in a basket and the broth in a pot, he brought them out and presented them to the angel, who was under the oak tree.1 - Judges 6:19


  • The angel of God said to him, "Place the meat and the unleavened bread on this rock, and pour the broth over it." And Gideon did as he was told. - Judges 6:20


  • Then the angel of the LORD touched the meat and bread with the staff in his hand, and fire flamed up from the rock and consumed all he had brought. And the angel of the LORD disappeared. - Judges 6:21


  • When Gideon realized that it was the angel of the LORD, he cried out, "Sovereign LORD, I have seen the angel of the LORD face to face!" - Judges 6:22

  • Then a third angel followed them, shouting, "Anyone who worships the beast and his statue or who accepts his mark on the forehead or the hand - Revelation 14:9


  • must drink the wine of God's wrath. It is poured out undiluted into God's cup of wrath. And they will be tormented with fire and burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and the Lamb. - Revelation 14:10


  • Then an angel came from the Temple and called out in a loud voice to the one sitting on the cloud, "Use the sickle, for the time has come for you to harvest; the crop is ripe on the earth." - Revelation 14:15


  • After that, another angel came from the Temple in heaven, and he also had a sharp sickle. - Revelation 14:17


  • Then another angel, who has power to destroy the world with fire, shouted to the angel with the sickle, "Use your sickle now to gather the clusters of grapes from the vines of the earth, for they are fully ripe for judgment." - Revelation 14:18


  • So the angel swung his sickle on the earth and loaded the grapes into the great winepress of God's wrath. - Revelation 14:19


  • Then I saw in heaven another significant event, and it was great and marvelous. Seven angels were holding the seven last plagues, which would bring God's wrath to completion. - Revelation 15:1
