  • Then Noah built an altar to the LORD and sacrificed on it the animals and birds that had been approved for that purpose. - Genesis 8:20

  • If you build altars from stone, use only uncut stones. Do not chip or shape the stones with a tool, for that would make them unfit for holy use. - Exodus 20:25
