(Read Abraham Part 1 First)

  • I am giving all this land to you! Go in and occupy it, for it is the land the LORD swore to give to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and to all their descendants.' - Deuteronomy 1:8

  • "The LORD your God will soon bring you into the land he swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It is a land filled with large, prosperous cities that you did not build. - Deuteronomy 6:10

  • It is not at all because you are such righteous, upright people that you are about to occupy their land. The LORD your God will drive these nations out ahead of you only because of their wickedness, and to fulfill the oath he had sworn to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. - Deuteronomy 9:5

  • Overlook the stubbornness and sin of these people, but remember instead your servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. - Deuteronomy 9:27

  • He wants to confirm you today as his people and to confirm that he is your God, just as he promised you, and as he swore to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. - Deuteronomy 29:13

  • Choose to love the LORD your God and to obey him and commit yourself to him, for he is your life. Then you will live long in the land the LORD swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob." - Deuteronomy 30:20

  • Then the LORD said to Moses, "This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and I told them I would give it to their descendants. I have now allowed you to see it, but you will not enter the land." - Deuteronomy 34:4

  • Joshua said to the people, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: Your ancestors, including Terah, the father of Abraham and Nahor, lived beyond the Euphrates River,* and they worshiped other gods.1 - Joshua 24:2

  • But I took your ancestor Abraham from the land beyond the Euphrates and led him into the land of Canaan. I gave him many descendants through his son Isaac. - Joshua 24:3

  • At the customary time for offering the evening sacrifice, Elijah the prophet walked up to the altar and prayed, "O LORD, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,* prove today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant. Prove that I have done all this at your command.3 - 1 Kings 18:36

  • But the LORD was gracious to the people of Israel, and they were not totally destroyed. He pitied them because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And to this day he still has not completely destroyed them or banished them from his presence. - 2 Kings 13:23

  • and Abram, later known as Abraham. - 1 Chronicles 1:27

  • The sons of Abraham were Isaac and Ishmael. - 1 Chronicles 1:28

  • The sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine, were Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. The sons of Jokshan were Sheba and Dedan. - 1 Chronicles 1:32

  • The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were sons of Abraham by his concubine Keturah. - 1 Chronicles 1:33

  • Abraham was the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac were Esau and Israel.*8 - 1 Chronicles 1:34

  • This is the covenant he made with Abraham and the oath he swore to Isaac. - 1 Chronicles 16:16
