(Read Aaron Part 1 First)

  • The following towns with their pasturelands were given to the descendants of Aaron the priest: Hebron (a city of refuge for those who accidentally killed someone), Libnah, - Joshua 21:13


  • So thirteen towns were given to the priests, the descendants of Aaron. - Joshua 21:19


  • "Then I sent Moses and Aaron, and I brought terrible plagues on Egypt; and afterward I brought you out as a free people. - Joshua 24:5


  • Eleazar son of Aaron also died. He was buried in the hill country of Ephraim, in the town of Gibeah, which had been given to his son Phinehas. - Joshua 24:33


  • I chose your ancestor Aaron* from among all his relatives to be my priest, to offer sacrifices on my altar, to burn incense, and to wear the priestly garments* as he served me. And I assigned the sacrificial offerings to you priests.1 - 1 Samuel 2:28

  • The children of Amram were Aaron, Moses, and Miriam. The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. - 1 Chronicles 6:3


  • Only Aaron and his descendants served as priests. They presented the offerings on the altar of burnt offering and the altar of incense, and they performed all the other duties related to the Most Holy Place. They made atonement for Israel by following all the commands that Moses, the servant of God, had given them. - 1 Chronicles 6:49


  • The descendants of Aaron were Eleazar, Phinehas, Abishua, - 1 Chronicles 6:50


  • This is a record of the towns and territory assigned by means of sacred lots to the descendants of Aaron who were from the clan of Kohath. - 1 Chronicles 6:54


  • So the descendants of Aaron were given the following towns, each with its surrounding pasturelands: Hebron (a city of refuge), Libnah, Jattir, Eshtemoa, - 1 Chronicles 6:57


  • And from the territory of Benjamin they were given Gibeon,* Geba, Alemeth, and Anathoth, each with its pasturelands. So a total of thirteen towns was given to the descendants of Aaron.10 - 1 Chronicles 6:60


  • This included Jehoiada, leader of the family of Aaron, who had 3,700 under his command. - 1 Chronicles 12:27


  • The sons of Amram were Aaron and Moses. Aaron and his descendants were set apart to dedicate the most holy things, to offer sacrifices in the LORD's presence, to serve the LORD, and to pronounce blessings in his name forever. - 1 Chronicles 23:13


  • The work of the Levites was to assist the priests, the descendants of Aaron, as they served at the house of the LORD. They also took care of the courtyards and side rooms, helped perform the ceremonies of purification, and served in many other ways in the house of God. - 1 Chronicles 23:28


  • This is how Aaron's descendants, the priests, were divided into groups for service. The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. - 1 Chronicles 24:1
