"Has there ever been a man as arrogant as Job, with his thirst for irreverent talk? - Job 34:7
I thirst for God, the living God. When can I come and stand before him? - Psalms 42:2
May they disappear like water into thirsty ground. Make their weapons useless in their hands.*1 - Psalms 58:7
A psalm of David, regarding a time when David was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. - Psalms 63:1
