(Read Reward Part 1 First)
Once before, someone told me, `Saul is dead,' thinking he was bringing me good news. But I seized him and killed him at Ziklag. That's the reward I gave him for his news! - 2 Samuel 4:10
Now what reward should I give the wicked men who have killed an innocent man in his own house and on his own bed? Should I not also demand your very lives?" - 2 Samuel 4:11
"What?" Joab demanded. "You saw him there and didn't kill him? I would have rewarded you with ten pieces of silver* and a hero's belt!"1 - 2 Samuel 18:11
But Ahimaaz continued to plead with Joab, "Whatever happens, please let me go, too." "Why should you go, my son?" Joab replied. "There will be no reward for you." - 2 Samuel 18:22
The LORD rewarded me for doing right; he compensated me because of my innocence. - 2 Samuel 22:21
The LORD rewarded me for doing right, because of my innocence in his sight. - 2 Samuel 22:25
And now, you men of Judah, be strong and courageous, for your work will be rewarded." - 2 Chronicles 15:7
