  • When the older daughter gave birth to a son, she named him Moab.* He became the ancestor of the nation now known as the Moabites.1 - Genesis 19:37


  • Then they moved to the far side of the Arnon River, in the wilderness adjacent to the territory of the Amorites. The Arnon is the boundary line between the Moabites and the Amorites. - Numbers 21:13
