  • Esau and Oholibamah had sons named Jeush, Jalam, and Korah. All these sons were born to Esau in the land of Canaan. - Genesis 36:5


  • Esau also had sons through Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah and granddaughter of Zibeon. Their names were Jeush, Jalam, and Korah. - Genesis 36:14


  • Korah, Gatam, and Amalek. These clans in the land of Edom were descended from Eliphaz, the son of Esau and Adah. - Genesis 36:16


  • The sons of Esau and his wife Oholibamah became the leaders of the clans of Jeush, Jalam, and Korah. These are the clans descended from Esau's wife Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah. - Genesis 36:18


  • The descendants of Izhar included Korah, Nepheg, and Zicri. - Exodus 6:21


  • The descendants of Korah included Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph. Their descendants became the clans of Korah. - Exodus 6:24


  • One day Korah son of Izhar, a descendant of Kohath son of Levi, conspired with Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On son of Peleth, from the tribe of Reuben. - Numbers 16:1


  • Then he said to Korah and his followers, "Tomorrow morning the LORD will show us who belongs to him and who is holy. The LORD will allow those who are chosen to enter his holy presence. - Numbers 16:5


  • You, Korah, and all your followers must do this: Take incense burners, - Numbers 16:6


  • Then Moses spoke again to Korah: "Now listen, you Levites! - Numbers 16:8


  • And Moses said to Korah, "Come here tomorrow and present yourself before the LORD with all your followers. Aaron will also be here. - Numbers 16:16


  • Meanwhile, Korah had stirred up the entire community against Moses and Aaron, and they all assembled at the Tabernacle entrance. Then the glorious presence of the LORD appeared to the whole community, - Numbers 16:19


  • "Then tell all the people to get away from the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram." - Numbers 16:24


  • So all the people stood back from the tents of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. Then Dathan and Abiram came out and stood at the entrances of their tents with their wives and children and little ones. - Numbers 16:27


  • This would warn the Israelites that no unauthorized man--no one who was not a descendant of Aaron--should ever enter the LORD's presence to burn incense. If anyone did, the same thing would happen to him as happened to Korah and his followers. Thus, the LORD's instructions to Moses were carried out. - Numbers 16:40
