(Read Good News Part 1 First)

  • I'm sure you have heard about the Good News for the people of Israel--that there is peace with God through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all. - Acts 10:36


  • "Well, I began telling them the Good News, but just as I was getting started, the Holy Spirit fell on them, just as he fell on us at the beginning. - Acts 11:15


  • Meanwhile, the believers who had fled from Jerusalem during the persecution after Stephen's death traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch of Syria. They preached the Good News, but only to Jews. - Acts 11:19


  • But God's Good News was spreading rapidly, and there were many new believers. - Acts 12:24


  • "And now Barnabas and I are here to bring you this Good News. God's promise to our ancestors has come true in our own time, - Acts 13:32


  • Then Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and declared, "It was necessary that this Good News from God be given first to you Jews. But since you have rejected it and judged yourselves unworthy of eternal life--well, we will offer it to Gentiles. - Acts 13:46


  • and they preached the Good News there. - Acts 14:7


  • "Friends,* why are you doing this? We are merely human beings like yourselves! We have come to bring you the Good News that you should turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them.2 - Acts 14:15


  • After preaching the Good News in Derbe and making many disciples, Paul and Barnabas returned again to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch of Pisidia, - Acts 14:21


  • At the meeting, after a long discussion, Peter stood and addressed them as follows: "Brothers, you all know that God chose me from among you some time ago to preach to the Gentiles so that they could hear the Good News and believe. - Acts 15:7


  • So we* decided to leave for Macedonia at once, for we could only conclude that God was calling us to preach the Good News there.4 - Acts 16:10


  • But my life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus--the work of telling others the Good News about God's wonderful kindness and love. - Acts 20:24


  • This letter is from Paul, Jesus Christ's slave, chosen by God to be an apostle and sent out to preach his Good News. - Romans 1:1


  • This Good News was promised long ago by God through his prophets in the holy Scriptures. - Romans 1:2


  • It is the Good News about his Son, Jesus, who came as a man, born into King David's royal family line. - Romans 1:3


  • God knows how often I pray for you. Day and night I bring you and your needs in prayer to God, whom I serve with all my heart* by telling others the Good News about his Son.2 - Romans 1:9


  • So I am eager to come to you in Rome, too, to preach God's Good News. - Romans 1:15
