• The sons of Reuben were Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi. - Genesis 46:9



• These are the ancestors of clans from some of Israel's tribes: The descendants of Reuben, Israel's oldest son, included Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi. Their descendants became the clans of Reuben. - Exodus 6:14



• The Hezronite clan, named after its ancestor Hezron. The Carmite clan, named after its ancestor Carmi. - Numbers 26:6



• But Israel was unfaithful concerning the things set apart for the LORD.* A man named Achan had stolen some of these things, so the LORD was very angry with the Israelites. Achan was the son of Carmi, of the family of Zimri,* of the clan of Zerah, and of the tribe of Judah.1 - Joshua 7:1



• Achan* son of Carmi, one of Zerah's descendants, brought disaster on Israel by taking plunder that had been set apart for the LORD.*3 - 1 Chronicles 2:7
