(Read Balak Part 1 First)
Then Balak son of Zippor, king of Moab, started a war against Israel. He asked Balaam son of Beor to curse you, - Joshua 24:9
but I would not listen to him. Instead, I made Balaam bless you, and so I rescued you from Balak. - Joshua 24:10
Are you any better than Balak son of Zippor, king of Moab? Did he try to make a case against Israel for disputed land? Did he go to war? No, of course not. - Judges 11:25
"Don't you remember, my people, how King Balak of Moab tried to have you cursed and how Balaam son of Beor blessed you instead? And remember your journey from Acacia* to Gilgal, when I, the LORD, did everything I could to teach you about my faithfulness."1 - Micah 6:5
And yet I have a few complaints against you. You tolerate some among you who are like Balaam, who showed Balak how to trip up the people of Israel. He taught them to worship idols by eating food offered to idols and by committing sexual sin. - Revelation 2:14
