Christian Real Estate Agent

QUESTION: What makes you a Christian real estate agent?

ANSWER:

The vision for a Christian real estate agent comes from God. God influenced my husband and me to operate a Christian-style real estate business. I would not recommend this particular undertaking for everyone. This calling is tailor-made for a believing, born-again Christian who possesses the necessary skills of leadership. To operate as a Christian Realtor®, one must first hear from God, as we did, before delving into this type of enterprise. It is an appointment that requires “faith in action.”

The first step in our business process involved the creation of a mission statement, something that could guide and steer us away from doubt, fear, and perceived limitations. Our mission statement is: “By implementing faith in God, our mission is to serve with compassion, lead with integrity, and to inspire clients in realizing their real estate dreams.”

We believe this vision has produced a healthy business and a viable ministry simultaneously. It has been critically important to have the Holy Spirit at work within us in order to bear lasting fruit -- the kind of fruit that can only be produced by love. “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit -- fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name” (John 15:16). It has been an honor to see how God has worked through our experiences as a Christian real estate agent.

WHAT DO YOU THINK? - We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.
