Christian Business Leaders

QUESTION: As Christian business leaders, what challenges do you face in the business world?

ANSWER:

From a practical standpoint, some of our greatest challenges as Christian business leaders have been trying to find the right balance between work and family life.

In addition, as Christians, we face the challenge of other Christians -- whether employees or clients -- who have unexpectedly disappointed us. Sometimes it’s a personal integrity issue, sometimes it’s a workplace ethics issue, but the feeling is often the same, as if being thrown into the lion’s den and told, “Bless you in the name of the Lord.” These trials have caused us to look more inward about our own growth in Christ and have also caused us to walk in a deeper sense of forgiveness.

Please do not misinterpret our hearts from these hard lessons. We thoroughly delight in working with other Christian families and ministries, especially those who relocate to Colorado Springs and bring the light of Christ with them. Likewise, we glean great joy when people submit to the authority of God in the midst of making major changes in their lifestyle. It has been an opportunity to see the power of God in action.

WHAT DO YOU THINK? - We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.
