Rather, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit each possesses the whole being of God Himself. Each person of the Trinity has all the attributes of God. The persons of the Trinity are not just three different ways of looking at the one being of God (modalism). The difference is not in the “being” but in the “relationship” as the Father relates to the Son and the Holy Spirit.

There have been attempts to simplify the doctrine of the Trinity. Through the Bible we obtain an understanding of the Trinity. But we may not fully grasp how to fit together all that we learn. It is spiritually healthy for us to acknowledge that God’s holiness and perfection is beyond our comprehension. In doing so, “Holy, Holy, Holy” humbles us before an Almighty God, drawing us to worship Him without hesitation.
